FIBA is looking for the next iconic female voice in basketball – and it could be you!
You could be a current commentator, sports presenter, social media content creator or just a fan of our great game. All that matters to us is that you can do what all great commentators do – enhance what’s on screen with your passion, expert knowledge and personality.
FIBA's experienced commentators will lead you through a training and mentoring program where we will work together to take your raw talent and turn it into a global voice for the game we love!
The top candidate will get the chance to travel to the FIBA Women’s World Cup 2022 in Australia where you will be at the center of the most exciting event in women’s basketball and your commentary will be heard around the globe.
HOW TO APPLY?
Simply let us know your name, your country of residence and send a 1-2-minute video telling us why you think you should be the new voice of FIBA's international basketball broadcasts.
Be original, be yourself and show us your love and knowledge for basketball! It’s as simple as that! Given FIBA's production requirements, it is essential for applicants to be able to speak English fluently.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
All the videos will be reviewed by our all-female judging panel and the top 10 will be invited to the next stage of the competition.
Here, your commentating skills will be put to the test and the top three will make it to the final round where we will select one candidate to undertake more extensive training with the opportunity to become part of the FIBA commentary team.
